Abstract

This book promises to provide the graduate student with a practical and relatively simple introduction to statistical research, both quantitative and qualitative. The author has taken his experience in conducting statistics seminars and streamlined the method, resulting in a highly applicable, relevant treatment of research methods. Both quantitative and qualitative methods are analyzed, and reasons given for their use in appropriate situations. Each chapter concludes with work sessions and problems, and the examples used throughout are tailored to the method being discussed. Integrating Quantitative and Qualitative Methods in Research is an indispensable guide for graduate students.
