These bound objects are assumed to be seeded by local maxima of the δ-field. The density profile of these objects is found to depend on (1) the power spectrum of the δ-field, (2) the height of the peaks relative to the rms value of δ, and (3) the value of Ω0. In the cold dark matter case, flat or slightly increasing rotation curves are expected for all acceptable values of Ω0 and H0.
